The Wales Gene Park invites you to participate in the Second International Genomics Conference in Cardiff, the National Capital of Wales, and join the distinguished faculty of leading world experts in genome sciences and technologies to share applications of recent advances and developments in the global healthcare and socio-economic progress.

The second annual conference of  the Virtual Physiological Human Network of Excellence (VPH)  will have a clear focus on the integrative aspects of VPH.  Special attention will be given to the 'Digital Patient' as well as 'health forecasts'.  VPH2012 aims at reaching outside of the VPH community to other equally important communities: systems biology and genomics.  In this respect, our vision is to have a conference that truly encompasses all possible scales to model physio/pathology with a clear ICT focus.

The technology, the claims and the investments are increasing, but what is the value we are chasing? At this interactive conference we invite you to help understand and improve the activities in these value chains and bring more benefit to humanity. We will use Idea Labs, Hands-On Exhibitions, poster presentations and knowledge sharing to present, discuss and develop ideas for getting the best out of biobanking.
