The 3rd SGPPH Annual General Meeting will focus on genetic screening.  Seven speakers from multidisciplinary backgrounds will present an analysis of developing technologies, current applications, screening policies and ethical and legal issues, as well as an assessment of the implications for future health delivery and health policy in this field.

Genomics Momentum 2008 will provide a showcase of results to prove that the huge investments in life sciences are beginning to pay off.  At Genomics Momentum 2008 NGI would like to bring together all relevant players and stakeholders in the life sciences to discuss whether we can make the investments in life sciences even more worthwhile?

The conference will consist of one day of workshops followed by two days of presentations. These will include those showcasing innovations in Chronic Disease Self-management in a variety of contexts (disease groups and modes of intervention), proffered papers, and presentations from both Australian and international leaders in the field.
