With a main theme of  Prevention and Screening, the festival  will be celebrating public health work from across the UK.  This free event will bring together students, researchers and workers from within the field and allow them to display their work, as well as providing the opportunity to network with like-minded people.

The festival will be opened by Professor Lindsey Davies, President of the Faculty of Public Health.

The Genetic Alliance annual conference promises to be an exciting and interesting day encompassing many areas of their current work as well as exploring new developments in gene therapy and what the Health and Social Care Act now means for patients, the Department of Health and the NHS.
