This conference will address key issues such as the success of GP commissioning pathfinder schemes, how the patient experience will improve as a result of these key reforms, the importance of working with the private sector to inspire innovation leading to new drugs and cures and also understanding new priorities for our health service, such as responding to the needs of an ageing population.

With the establishment of the Stratified Medicine Innovation Platform (SMIP) the UK Government aims to place the UK at the forefront of molecular-based healthcare.  Some drugs are already on the market under this principle and a growing pipeline means urgent issues from regulatory and reimbursement to the need for a new business model and forging long term partnerships need to be discussed.

This one-day seminar will bring together industry stakeholders to advise on the upcoming issues and promote debate about the impacts and what can be done to ensure greater speed from bench to bedside with fewer side effects.
