On-line genetics education from the University of Pittsburgh

2 February 2000   |   By Dr Alison Stewart   |   News story
The Genetics Education and Counseling Program at the University of Pittsburgh is expanding its on-line educational programs for medical professionals and the general public. Brochures and fact sheets are already available for many single-gene genetic diseases, and on-line learning modules are underway, or planned, on psychiatric genetics and mental health (for physicians), on genetic counseling and gene therapy (for medical students), and on "Community genetics: a public health guide". For information about the development of these resources, see the Program's web page.
