About Us

Grants

We may make grants to organisations to partner with us to provide knowledge, services and infrastructure that support our strategic objectives. Application is by invitation only and we do not respond to unsolicited applications. We will not normally make grants to individuals, unless we expressly include plans to do so in our two-year rolling work programme. We will also give preference to organisations who can demonstrate that they have secured matched funding or robust plans for raising future funding to continue the work to be supported by the Foundation grant.

Current grants include:

MRC Biostatistics Unit, Cambridge - £146K over two years to support the UK HuGENet Coordinating Centre and provide epidemiological and biostatistics expertise for the Foundation work programme

Hughes Hall, Cambridge - £150K per annum to fund three academic posts in law, philosophy and social science at the new Centre for Genomics, Science and Society

University of Cambridge, Department of History and Philosophy of Science - £69K over two years to underwrite a research fellowship: Philosophical Issues in Epidemiology: from Biostatistics to Policy
