The PHG Foundation is a multidisciplinary policy research unit; our staff have expertise in a wide range of subjects, including scientific, clinical, public health, ethical, legal, social and regulatory aspects of genomics and genome-based applications. These include areas such as genetics and medicine, genetic testing and prenatal genetic diagnosis, genomic technologies, pharmacogenomics, human tissue, cloning and stem cell medicine, as well as many others.
We are also the leading UK centre for public health genomics, and have considerable experience in policy research and development, as well as evidence-based evaluation of clinical and scientific tools.
One of the key functions of public health genomics is the integration of knowledge, and as part of this we provide coverage of pertinent developments via our fully searchable news.
