About Us

Collaborations

Foundation grants

We occasionally make grants to organisations to provide us with knowledge, services and infrastructure that support our strategic objectives. We give preference to organisations who have secured matched funding or have robust plans for raising future funding to continue the work to be supported by our grant. We do not normally make grants to individuals.
Application is by invitation only and we do not respond to unsolicited applications.

Current grants:
Hughes Hall, Cambridge - £150K per annum to fund three academic posts in law, philosophy and social science at the new Hughes Hall Centre for Biomedical Science in Society

Past grants:
University of Cambridge, Department of History and Philosophy of Science - Underwriting for a research fellowship: Philosophical Issues in Epidemiology: from Biostatistics to Policy  (other permanent funding has now been obtained for this post)

Joint projects and consultancy

We believe that partnerships and collaborations with other like-minded organisations, whether private, public or third sector, are crucial. We welcome enquiries to work with others who share our values and priorities. We also welcome opportunities to tender for consultancy work and other services that fall within our charitable purpose. Please contact us for further information.
