Specialist Registrars in Public Health: placements in Public Health GenomicsIn 1999, the Faculty Advisers Committee of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine gave approval to the establishment of attachments in Public Health Genomics for Specialist Registrars (SpRs) in the final year of their training, normally as a secondment from the main training post. These placements are provided by the PHG Foundation in association with the Department of Medical Genetics at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, and includes supervision by Consultants in Public Health Medicine and Medical Genetics.
Placements are suitable for senior trainees in public health medicine.
