Philippa is responsible for our strategic communications and external affairs, supporting corporate development. Experienced in policy development, science writing and public speaking, she oversees public relations and media engagement for the Foundation, including acting as editor-in-chief for our Genomics and Policy News service, running our Press Office and leading external events.

Philippa trained in Natural Sciences (Pathology) at Christ’s College, Cambridge before completing her doctorate at the MRC Laboratory for Molecular Biology and moving to work in the pharmaceutical industry. She is a Senior Member of Hughes Hall, a member of the British Society of Human Genetics and a council member of the Society for Genomics, Policy and Population Health.
