About us

Our mission is to make science work for health. As a not-for-profit think tank, we help policy makers understand how new technologies could improve healthcare and health outcomes, and the actions needed to put innovations into practice. We use an independent and evidence based approach to develop analysis and insights.

The PHG Foundation was founded in 1997 and since 2018 has been a linked exempt charity of the University of Cambridge and is regulated by HEFCE.
