Mark is responsible for leading PHG Foundation’s business development and partnerships function. He works closely with the Director, Executive Team and Trustees to grow and diversify the Foundation’s income, secure new partnerships across the public, industry and academic sectors, and ensure the long-term sustainability of its work. He also oversees the Foundation’s brand, marketing and communications to maximise the impact and audience for its work.
Mark joined the PHG Foundation from the University of Cambridge, where he spent over six years building and managing the University’s strategic partnerships with industry. He led a multidisciplinary team responsible for a portfolio of partnerships worth £77million across the life sciences, digital, energy and financial services sectors. Earlier in his career he was Director of the Cambridge eScience Centre, leading research collaborations in large-scale scientific computing.
