US FTC cautions on direct-to-consumer genetic tests

The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), a US body that seeks to prevent fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices in the marketplace, recently issued new guidance for consumers on over-the-counter genetic tests, entitled: At-Home Genetic Tests: A Healthy Dose of Skepticism May Be the Best Prescription.
